text. The Preface of the Complutensian Greek N. T. claims that the MSS. used were the oldest and most accurate obtainable. The MSS. were lent by Pope Leo from the Vatican Library. But the Complutensian text has had little influence apart from the corrections made from it by Erasmus in his edition of 1527.
